There, I tripped over a page that is called the "1850 Federal Census Mortality Schedule." In it, Abial is listed as having died of "Dropsy" in April of 1850 at the age of 76. Doesn't the information you have for him list his death as having occurred in 1849?"
She responded, "...I had a researcher, Betty Buckell, research it for me. She found his gravestone in the Wilsey Cemetary and I have a photo of graves taken later when I was there. The date is clearly cut in the stone and was 13 Apr. 1849 and it even said "in the 75th year of his age. It is also found in the records compiled by several Thurman/Athol Town Historians and is a compilation of 17 small Thurman/Athol cemetaries." | Frost, Abial (I1)
